Welcome to Tyre Mould Estonia, a leader in the car tyre mould industry in Northern Europe, renowned for our innovative approach and technical expertise in tyre mould production. Established in 2011 and reaching full production capacity by 2018, we have rapidly positioned ourselves at the forefront of tire mold manufacturing.

Our Journey and Location

Situated in Estonia, just a 10-minute drive from Tallinn airport, our state-of-the-art facility spans 3,500 m² of production space complemented by a 500 m² modern office area. This strategic location not only underscores our commitment to efficiency and accessibility but also places us within reach of key logistics networks, enhancing our service delivery across Europe and beyond.

Our History

Our company history timeline through the years.

Founder Jalo Pirhonen starts working in maintenance department in Nokia Oy.

1979

Nokia Oy outsourced maintenance and mould department to TP-Companies and the family business started.

1988

Own aluminium foundry was established.

1990

First segmented aluminium mould delivered to the customer.

1992

TP-Tools Oy established.

1997

Second generation continues developing tyre mould production.

2000

Several R&D projects in cooperation with Tampere and Helsinki Universities.

2005-2008

Tyre Mould Estonia established.

2011

Production starts at Estonia plant.

2015

In-house 3D printing capabilities.

2023

Circular economy project with European Union.

2024

Implementation of automated production line.

2024

Continues to develop its production for innovative forms and shapes.
